Bonaire

Together with the neighboring islands Aruba and Curacao, the sunny island Bonaire forms part of the so-called ABC islands. Bonaire is rightfully called "Diver’s Paradise" and attacks many tourists all year round. Bonaire’s protected shoreline and its wonderful warm climate are incredibly appealing to many travelers. This beautiful island features as many as 86 marked diving spots with an abundance of colorful coral reefs and tropical fish.

An unforgettable moment for each diver is the encounter with a sea turtle. For the survival of many sea turtles, the island "Klein Bonaire" plays an important role. Klein Bonaire is only 2.3 sq. miles and uninhabited. Practically every diving school offers a water taxi service to this blissful island.

The island has an ideal location in the Caribbean, as a result of which you will be able to enjoy a warm climate all year round. Bonaire finds itself outside the hurricane belt, which means you never have to worry about the Caribbean hurricane season. Bonaire is known for its pearly white beaches, flamingo’s and the characteristic Divi-Divi trees.

Kralendijk is the capital of Bonaire. You will find houses painted in lively colours, historical buildings and lovely shops. Tourist life takes place on the Kaya Craane, the promenade along the water and behind that, the shopping street Kaya Grandi.

Furthermore, Bonaire is also suitable for sportive activities such as wind- and kite surfing, walking and mountain biking. Bonaire is a peaceful island with friendly inhabitants.
